I think Emmanuel's guitars are true gems. Those who manage to get one will enjoy a magnificent instrument, which they will not want to get rid of in their lives.

When people see an Emmanuel Carlucci guitar on the web or advertised anywhere on the Internet, they don't know what kind of instrument they are looking at.

Exactly the same thing happened to me, but I let myself be carried away once again by my intuition and without even trying it I got one...

 

The surprise came when I opened the case and had it in my hands.

The smell and finishes of the wood in contact with the skin cause very pleasant sensations.

As soon as you put the guitar under your arm and play a few notes you understand that you have something great in your hands, something that has been built knowing what to do and what you want from an instrument... This is only possible when the Luthier is also guitarist.

 

And I continue talking about sensations because for many professionals it is not only the sound that matters.

It is as much or more what you feel as well. It's the same as driving a high-end Fiat or Mercedes at 80km per hour.

When I started playing the guitar I was simply AMAZED!

The first thing that strikes you is the large amount of sound it gives off, it's brutal! Volume but sweet sound full of nuances.

I know what I am talking about. I have had guitars from the greatest luthiers in Spain, Mariano Conde, Manuel Bellido... and I have spent very high amounts of money... up to €7,000 on a single guitar and in total more than 30 have passed through my hands.

This sounded real, the clarity and volume of the first and second strings for the picas really hits home. But what about the bass sounds, the sixth and fifth strings? (For my taste, a good guitar has to have very good bass, otherwise it's not worth it. I think it's the most difficult thing to achieve in a guitar).

But again I was pleasantly surprised, they were heavy, well defined and powerful,

I couldn't believe it... What a piece of guitar I had just bought!

 

Last but not least, talk about comfort and how easy it is to move around the mast with minimal effort due to its ergonomic construction.

And the best thing is that it has 2 more frets than normal before joining the body at the 14th fret…. wow!!!! a mini cutawey.

Those of you who are looking for high-end guitars, I invite you to forget a little about the “marchitis” and you will surely be able to find gems as is.
